Defect Diagnosis

If you have a particular concern or defect with your property such as; cracking, damp, timber decay, etc, we offer Defect Diagnosis Reports.  The Defect Diagnosis Reports provide commentary upon the general construction of the property, identifies the defect(s), outlines the expected causes and provides full recommendations for the necessary remedial action.

The defect may be due to a fault in construction, a failure in the building materials or a flaw in the design. In some cases, defects require monitoring over a period of time to fully understand the severity and enable us to specify the appropriate course of remedial action.

Our services include an initial inspection, followed by the production of a detailed report incorporating a comprehensive summary setting out the required works. We are able to provide indicative budget costs should a client request and can also obtain competitive tenders and manage remedial works. Our reports are written in a user friendly manner so that they can be clearly understood by clients and their contractors.
